First Round JV Tournament vs. Northeast Academy

Hi Girls,

Not a very good game for us. Basically we were rusty and played down to our competition a little. Still an ugly win is better than a pretty loss. Plus by winning we get to advance to the Championship game with a chance to win redeem ourselves and win our second JV Tournament in the past two years. We did not have one 3 years ago.

1- Scoring totals: Jamie 8, Jesse 6, Lindsey 4, Lindy 2, Caroline 1, Jordan 1.

2- Rebounds: Lindy 7*, Jamie 4*, Emily 4, Alex 3, Mer 3, Jordan 2, Jesse 1, Lindsey 1, Megan 1, Casey 1.

3- Steals: Lindsey 13***, Jesse 8**, Jamie 4*, Emily 3, Caitlin 3, Megan 3, Alex 2 , Mer 2, , Jordan 2. Lindsey set a team JV record for the teams I have coached with 13 steals. Great work!

4- Assists: Lindsey 2, Jordan 1*

5- Blocks: Lindsey 2*

6- Shooting percentage: Team- 24.3% (Poor) 33.3% is the minimum winning performance.

7- Individual Shooting: Lindy 1/3*, Jesse 3/11, Lindsey 2/8, Jamie 3/13, Megan 0/1,
Caitlin 0/1, Caroline 0/2, Jordan 0/2, Alex 0/3, Emily 0/4. 33.3% is the minimum winning percent for shooting. We only had one player Lindy who met or exceeded that, we need to meet or exceed that as a team.

8- Foul Shooting: Jordan 1/2 *, Caroline 1/2*, Lindsey 0/2, Jamie 0/3, Jessie 0/4. 50% is the minimum winning percentage in foul shooting. We had only 2 players meet that today.

9- Team Foul Shooting: 2/13 for 15. 4%

10- Northeast Scoring: #11 Taylor Moms 5, #25 Madison Burch 2, # 33 Mollie Cocke 1.

Of note: We beat this same team in the first game of the year 47 to 4. We won today 22 to 8.
