Jan 3rd Trip to Carolina Practice.

Hi Girls,

As I told you at practice last week I have gotten permission from Coach Roy Williams for us to attend a Carolina Men's Practice on Jan 3, 2011. We will leave school around 10:32, stop and eat lunch probably at Wendy's in Chapel Hill and be at the Dean E Smith Center by 1:30. Practice officially starts at 2:00pm and will last around 2 hours or a little less. This should be a very good learning experience since we have copied much from the UNC learning system as passed on from Dean Smith to Roy Williams. I think you will be impressed with how hard they practice and how there is no wasted time. BTW, we will have to be quite while watching practice. No exceptions!

If you like we can make plans to eat dinner at the Red Lobster or some other nice spot on the way home or we can just come on back or fast food it. I will check with you all on that .

I will need a few parents to volunteer to drive but they are very particular about letting many people into practice so we will need to limit the number of drivers as best we can to maybe 5 including myself. This is considered a field trip and parents will have to sign a consent form for their children to go.

We will miss practice that Monday, first day back from Christmas Break, then practice on Tuesday and play on Wednesday at home vs. NEA.
