It was nice to win. It was not nice to play as poorly as we played. There was poor execution across the board.
If you want to win you focus on execution and effort, the team's and your own. We did not do well on either.

Final Thoughts: The Next Season Syndrome: About this time of year players start getting excited about the next season whatever it is for you. They have dreams of we are going to be good. We are going to have a chance to win it all. Most of the time it does not work out, sometimes it might.

I do know one thing, you have a chance to be the Regular Season Champions for JV Girls Basketball and it is right in front of you for the taking. All we have to do is want it hard enough to focus on executing the things we know how to do and the things we have practiced basically since preseason practice.

Not many ever win a Championship in any sport. In Basketball at HA at the 2A level in the basketball rich EPIC conference, Championships are few and far between. We have 4 more conference games in the Regular Season. Do some soul searching and decide how important giving this team its best shot at winning is to you.

If you think it is not so important then enjoy dreaming about other seasons to come because dreaming of reaching any goal without putting in the focus and effort is just Dreaming. Winning is about Playing Hard and working hard to execute the things you know how to do and having the dicipline not to do the things you know you should not do on the court.
